Deerfield River E. Coli Levels in Wilmington Center

The Deerfield River Watershed Association and the Connecticut River Conservancy sampled the water in the Deerfield River in Wilmington Center 6 times during the summer of 2018. 

Most of the water samples showed bacteria levels above what is considered clean enough for swimming or boating.  Above where Beaver Brook flows into the Deerfield River (1), only 1/3 of the samples were considered clean enough for swimming. Below where Beaver Brook flows into the Deerfield River (2), none were clean enough. Details are below.
