Fellow LFL steward here and I just stopped by your Library this morning on my way between NH and NY. I searched for libraries in Wilmington on the World Map and was happy to discover your adorable Library was only a mile and a half out of my way. Not the nicest morning for a visit, but I was happy to grab a few books and leave several behind.

Do you know anyone with an usually or beautifully decorated home on a Lake Raponda? I am trying to write an article about this kind of home for atHome Magazine.

Please let me know if you can think of anyone and possibly might have a way to contact them.

Thank you!

I saw your LFL while visiting friends Carol and Tom Grant on Lake Raponda Rd. and took the idea back to the library director in our town (Framingham, MA, where I chair the library board). Our library has now supplied 1,000 books for kids who live with a homeless parent in a local motel. We call the bookcase in the motel lobby the Little Free Library. The Salvation Army director learned about it and requested that we provide a LFL for his clientele. Very gratifying! Thanks for the wonderful idea, Alan.

Hi Anita, Yes, there are 5 other Little Free Libraries in Vermont. On the Lake Raponda Little Free Library web page click on the link labeled Map of Little Free Libraries then zoom in on Vermont. Just click on any one for its address.

I recently stayed at Lake Raponda with my family and discovered your little library. Although I didn't take a book (or leave one), I certainly enjoyed taking a walk to it and looking at the books available. What a great idea!
