Vermont’s growing population of black bears can lead to some surprise encounters around Lake Raponda. Understanding our furry neighbors and their habits is the best way to avoid problems. Jacklyn Comeau, wildlife scientist for Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department has helped to develop the State’s Black Bear Program. Her deep knowledge of these remarkable creatures has led to great insights into “Living with Black Bears".
